yea it just kinda happened. why did the dark lord think that someone else could kill him when in the previous movie even he couldnt? i guess he wanted draco to backstab? why did albus let it happen? the movie was very vague. i liked it if only for the cave scene.

erg, i saw it that night.
it was atrocious! it felt like a 2hr long preview. so much slow motion i wanted to beat the director to death. and yes, watching ppl get incinerated down to the bones and then seeing their bones desintigrate can get old. ESPECIALLY IF IT ALWAYS HAPPENS IN F*CKING SLO-MO!
that director went down on the characters of that story and never came up for air. i think he died in rorschach's crotch.
